Some ideas for different Mother's Day gifts

Fresh flowers are the traditional gift for Mother's Day but they do not last very long and the prices rocket at this time. Here are some ideas for a lasting and unusual present. Please remember that in season I have gorgeous home grown flowers for sale either hand tied as shown or arranged in decorative vases.

This lovely vintage Yardley English Lavender advertising ornament could be accompanied with either a small lavender plant or a packet of seeds. A completely individual and lasting idea which could appreciate in value, very reasonably price at just £12

Decorative vintage German stoneware glazed pottery, a small jug for a posy and 2 plant pot holders. Just £25 I have various jugs and ornaments on the website which would make lovely gifts like this really pretty Reducta of London vase £12

Succulents and sempervivums are a novel idea and will be so long lasting. Planted in glazed and terracotta pots or novelty bricks for outside. £8 each or 3 for £20

You can find a selection of dried flower arrangements on the website, again long lasting in really nice containers.

I hope this has given you some inspiration for this year, lots more ideas with details and prices at www.4homeandgarden.org
