Time to think about protecting your succulents

Most succulents need to be protected from very cold weather, 5c and below Terracotta containers are great for Cacti, Succulents, and other plants that prefer drier soil. The walls of the pots draw the water out of the soil to help the soil dry quicker which is just what succulents like especially in the winter months. Most people kill their plants by keeping them too wet. Most sempervivums will survive a winter outside. These and more are available to purchase.

Shallow containers like these terracotta pans are ideal, they measure 14cm across 7 tall. When potting make sure to include lots of grit in the compost mix. Lots of different size terracotta pots are available on the website.
